The Exeter University Community - Ayyy!

(x-posted to basically everywhere people suggested I might be able to find help)

Hey folks,

I'm not totally sure this is allowed here but I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm an American and looking to apply to the University of Exeter's MSc in Animal Behavior. It's a little pricey for me to fly there just to check out the campus but the only information I can find online about the school and the city are tourist type things so I was hoping someone here might be able to give me a little more personal experience of the area. I'd be really thankful for any help especially if you guys could hook me up with someone who actually is in that program.

Hello there! I take it you've found the University website and the page for the course you're looking at?

Lots of information about living in Exeter on the uni website. Also, there's the X-Net X-Pedia, a wiki about all things Exeter, made by students. In fact, you might like to look at the rest of the X-Net site, there's a lot of content!

Hope that these are all useful!

My friend gemma did the animal behaviour MSc a couple of years ago. I'll poke her and see if she has time to share her thoughts about it.

She deserves the poking, that's for sure.
I wonder if the course is still so poorly run lots of places don't recognise the qualification... :s

I did the animal behaviours masters, we also had an American and a Candian on the course. Ask me anything you like and then if you like i can hook you with the details of Nicola whos still from America who still here doing her Phd.

It depends what your looking for a course. If you email me, it might be better to talk that way
